I did some interior design photography for a client yesterday. It’s actually my first time doing this type of photography, and I was a little bit intimidated at first, but I rose to the occasion. I think the trickiest parts was how to balance my off camera flash with ambient lighting most especially in rooms separate from what you are shooting in and maneuvering in a small space. I brought one speed light only; I wish I brought two. I had to resort to lowering the shutter speed of the camera to allow for ambient lighting in connecting rooms. The client was pleased with the images and, at the end of the day, its what matters. Here are some images below:
